Best Routes To Immigration To Canada

There are many countries in the world that offer a high standard of living and economic opportunities. These places are very attractive to immigrants. One of the most desirable nations to live is Canada. It offers so many different places to live and outstanding schools, health care and recreation. Each year thousands of new settlers arrive to call this great country home.

However, before they can pack up their things and move there is a long and sometimes frustrating process ahead of them. Immigration to Canada can take months or even years. Every applicant should realize that there are steps they can take to get their application processed faster. The day that confirmation of permanent residency arrives is truly special and they want it to happen as soon as possible.

The most important thing to do is really understand the immigration process. It does take some work to become familiar with all the steps and exactly what is required. However, by doing the research properly ahead of time most people can save themselves a lot of frustration and money.

In the past decade or so things have begun to change. There are new ways to immigrate and the most successful are the Provincial Nominee Programs. Each province is now able to recruit its own settlers and fill its own unique needs. Obviously a country as large and diverse as Canada has many different localized needs.

The certificate must be issued before any application can begin. In addition each adult named on the forms will also need to supply police clearance certificates from every country they have lived in since the age of eighteen. This can sometimes be a long process and it is best to apply early and have the documents ready to include with the application.

Every member of the family must also have a medical examination. This is to check for any chronic health conditions that may be viewed as a burden on the Canadian health care system. Because of universal health care, the government is very strict about who they allow to immigrate. Those with existing health issues may not qualify and in these cases the entire family will also be disqualified.

Each family will also be required to provide documentation to prove they have sufficient funds to settle. This will involve bank statements, property titles and investments. All of these together indicate the overall net worth of the family. Most people will need to allow enough money to support themselves for at least the first six months they are in their new home.

It can take anywhere from a year onwards to gain the all important permanent resident status. Even then the family will be required to reside in the country for two out of the next five years to fulfill their residency status.
